Goodbye 2021 and hello 2022—5 habits that will change your life

I hope you had an amazing “Goodbye 2021 and Hello 2022” celebration! 2021 is finally over, and hopefully so are all the restrictions. It’s time to plan or “wowweeeeeee” (my new mantra!) and start filling the new year with new memories and experiences. If you are ready to change things up, I encourage you to check out the top 5 habits that will fuel your furnace and change your life!

1. Have a stable Sleeping Schedule

Sleeping

Kicking off with a tough one. Let 2022 be the year that you finally take control of your sleep schedule. Sleep is one of the most important aspects of your life and can bring many positive effects such as a better hormone balance, better weight control and improved mood, well-being, and much more!

2. Play

Play in any form has a powerful ability to uplift even the most despondent spirits. For me, it’s painting and creating and teaching others how to let go of the fear of making mistakes and have fun with paint. For me, this is what spirituality is: something that lifts us up at a much deeper level and allows us to transcend the mundane. Play is my go-to place for comfort, encouragement strength, advice, inspiration and empowerment.

3. Exercising regularly

Exercising

Exercise leads to a whole host of health benefits, including better sleep, improved energy, weight management, lower blood pressure, and a stronger heart. Definitely a must-have in your 2022 enrichment list.

4. Meditate

Meditate

Focus, relax, destress and obtain peace of mind in minutes when you practice meditation. It’s the Swiss-Army knife of all things good for you. A regular meditation practice will help you improve your sleep, reduce memory loss, increase your focus and lower your blood pressure. The perfect bundle of positive effects for the New Year!

5. Practice gratitude

This is a card from The Art of Life Inspiration Deck. I’m grateful I completed this project in December last year:)

Counting your blessings is one of the simplest — yet most effective — things you can do to improve your mood and wellbeing. Reminding yourself how much you have to be grateful for can completely reframe your outlook.  It can help you feel more motivated, encouraged, and inspired. While it’s easy (and free) to practice gratitude by saying what you’re grateful for out loud, I also like to write down my blessings (great and small) to look back on every day.

Another thing I like to do is to create a new passion journal every year.
Each year is like a blank book, ready to be filled with amazing experiences and memories. Try something new, talk to someone you haven’t seen in years, change your life for the better. I hope 2022 will be the start of something magnificent!

In the meantime, I encourage you to check out my website, where you will find various inspirational aids, and creative products and services that will enhance your life during 2022!

Give Thanks
